Only 2 More Days Left... Wow!!!
Today was a really great day! We started out discussing differentiation and students with disabilities. We also had an open discussion about self-doubt, and thinking of things from the student perspective… after this talk, hopefully most of the participants now have a different outlook on some of the things that they initially feared, such as speaking in front of their colleagues and mastering technology tools before August. We then toured the TK Martin Center for Technology and Disability… it was absolutely amazing! Following that tour, I allowed them to finish up their technology plans, lesson plans and art projects. At 3:30pm, we went to Mrs. Latham's room for the actual presentation of art projects.. they were all absolutely amazing!!!! Check out Ed Silence’s blog to see photos of all of the projects. Tomorrow we will present lesson plans all day long. I am so eager to see what this great group of teachers have developed!!! ~ Dr. Bracey

Today is the 10th Day of GAETI! This have been going very well, and the teachers are learning many new innovative tools and techniques! Today we had a tech guru visit us from Dallas, Texas... so even though it has probably been a bit overwhelming for those who may feel less tech-savvy, I think they are really getting the hang of Google Drive! Hopefully, they will perservere and not give up... they are all doing such a great job. :-) ~ Dr. Bracey
